Sewage treatment and disposal and a good septic system should also be given high priority. Otherwise it may contaminate the surrounding drinking water supplies, pollute creeks and rivers, and cause an unpleasant odor in your home. Storm water management is another thing to consider. Make sure that the storm water is channeled properly into sewers and does not cause any water logging issues.
